This Ain’t Our First Rodeo
1. Horseless Barrel Racing: Set up a "barrel race" outside. Place chairs (one for each couple) about 15 feet away from the starting line and give each couple a broom or stick horse. When the race starts, one partner from each couple race around the chair and back to the starting line while galloping on your trusty steed. The couple that finishes the relay first, wins.
2. High Noon: Set up three long neck bottles for each couple in designated shooting line about 15-20 feet away. Balance ping pong balls on top of the bottles and have a shoot-out competition to see which individual or couple can knock the most ping pong balls off their three bottles with a nerf gun in 30 seconds.
3. Invisible Bull Riding: You'll need a large stuffed animal or pillow and a timer. Each player will have 30 seconds to simulate riding a bull. After each person "rides," teams will vote on their top three performances (players cannot vote for themselves).
4. Line Dance-Off: Each pair choose a line dance to learn and spend 15 minutes learning it! Take turns performing your dances then vote on their favorite one (teams cannot vote for their own line dance). The team with the most votes, wins! If you are feeling a little more "groupy" learn a dance together.
5. Cowboy Boot Toss: Grab two pairs of cowboy boots (or any kind). Set up hoola hoops or draw large circles using chalk or tape. Set up your circles at varying distances from a throwing line and assign point values to each (closest may be 5 points while furthest might be 15). Each player gets three throws to "lasso" points by tossing the boots at the targets. The team with highest combined score wins!
6. Country Karaoke/Lip Sync: Each couple come with a country song or duet ready to perform! If you don't have a karaoke machine, simply search the song title and karaoke on Youtube. If you feel shy about singing a good lipsync performance can be just as strong when you put your heart into it.
