Introduction

School can be a mix of things for kids-learning, having fun, facing challenges, and making friends. Staying connected as a family during the school year can be a challenge as well. We wanted to create a product for parents and kids that encourages everyday adventures, fosters connections with others, and cultivates exciting new memories. Lunchbox Notes will help families stay connected in the midst of their everyday lives by providing opportunities for conversation on the way home from school or gathered around the dinner table.

In this box, you will find 28 Lunchbox Notes, 24 of which are “mini challenges” that your child can complete throughout the school year (at lunch or recess), either on their own, or with classmates or friends. The other 4 Notes are “Wild Cards.” (You can read more about those below.)



How to Use This Product

We’ve provided enough Lunchbox Notes for your child to have around 1 Adventure or Wild Card per week, for the school year.

    Place an Adventure or Wild Card in your child’s lunchbox at your own convenience and let them know they have something special for the day in their lunch.

    Send Your Own Special Notes

    Wild Cards allow you to write your own fun reward or a few words of encouragement for your child. When you’re done, just cover it with a provided scratch-off sticker for them to reveal your note at lunch.

Wild Cards

These cards are purposefully blank - we included them so you can use them to write down a fun reward or a few words of encouragement for your child. These can be as grand or minor as you would like. Here are a few examples to get you started:

Ex: I’m so proud of your test score; let’s celebrate with ice cream after school!

Ex: You get to pick dinner tonight!

Ex: Invite a few friends to have a sleepover this weekend!

Ex: Let’s have a family game night this Friday!

Ex: Let’s have a “yes” day. We can do whatever you want around town today!

Ex: You know that toy you’ve been wanting? Let’s get it!

Simply pull out the Wild Card, write in your surprise, then place the provided scratcher sticker over what you’ve written. Don’t forget to leave an encouraging note on the back!
